It is the hope of the Friends of Wisdom that the labor and work of its members shall leave behind a heritage of beauty -learning, inspiration and good for generations to come.

To quote Albert Schweitzer "It is not always granted to the sower to live to see the harvest. All work that is worth anything is done in ---FAITH."

The Friends of Wisdom will provide as many tools of education as is within its power to individual members and groups who are in need and who show a stable desire to learn and become productive citizens within the community they circulate. As a member of the Friends of Wisdom you are entitled to all programs and assistance pertaining to various aspects of your life such as health, education , jobs ,care, retirement , housing etc. The Practical Things of life which are necessary.

We wish by the compassionate use of our abundance , wealth , and energy to alleviate unnecessary pain and suffering when and where ever we can.

Membership in the organization is not complicated, secretive, or eclectic. The doors of our activity centers and churches of wisdom are open to all regardless of race, personal beliefs , religious preference or genetic appearance.

Whatever business the Friends of Wisdom may be responsible for or entrusted with shall be conducted by the principle of sharing and non profit regulation. Goods, services , materials, and accumulated wealth shall be directed toward attaining a condition of Mutual and Harmonic survival for the greatest amount of people as possible.

We will operate in a fashion which is governed by fairness and justice and will respect the laws of each community, state, and nation which accepts our help, but will not co-operate with Injustice , Cruelty, or Unfairness.

We are a co-operative organization interrelating by means of knowledge, understanding, good-will and not by greed, hypnosis, antagonistic confrontation, ruthless competition, destructive behavior full of aggression and acts of covert nastility . We wish to bring about and contribute to the flowering of an advanced civilization of Beauty ,Elegance, and Intelligence. A world that we would be happy to live in and raise our children and not as Gurdjieff described " a malignant sore on the face of the universe".

The economic structure of the Friends shall be determined by the nature and needs of the activities presented.

No one works for free in the Friends unless they so choose. All must receive what is within the means of the Friends of Wisdom to assist in their Survival and not only for the care and maintenance of the physical body they inhabit but also receiving the support they need to create time for study, meditation, work for the organization , and most importantly --Time to work on their own personal Evolution for the beatification of the character of their Essence.

To repeat ,in a different way , the Friends of Wisdom will Provide means of livelihood, Right Livelihood as Buddha advised, to its members. We do not wish to be a community of beggars but one of Producers , who are self-reliant , self-sufficient and by mutual concern and assistance try to secure as far as possible a more stable life with a great deal of room in our interconnected livingness for Creativity.
